According to the latest data presented by Chitika, Apple's iPad line maintains its lead in the market based on the latest web traffic obtained from sites that serve Chitika ads. However, Chitika's data is suggesting that Apple's tablet PC web traffic lead during Post-Holiday season shrinks whilst its rival grow.PIPO M1
Unsurprisingly, Amazon's Kindle Fire HD is still the most popular Android tablet based on web traffic with 7.51 percent of market share, followed by Samsung's Galaxy tablet lineup with 4.39 percent. Also worth noting is the first tablet computer lineup of Google, the ASUS Nexus 7 and Samsung Nexus 10 tablets posting a market share growth of 0.92 percent with the current share of 2.04 percent.

Honorable mention is the new Microsoft Surface tablet computer with ARM processor. Apparently, its market share is smaller than Amazon's and Google's. Sporting 0.17 percent market share increase, the Surface Tablet currently holds 0.40 percent of the web traffic market share. As reported by Chitika, losing tablet PC is the BlackBerry PlayBook of Research in Motion with 0.02 percent decline resulting to 0.68 percent share.
So overall, the Apple iPad with the new iPad 4 tablet PC and iPad mini topped the chart with 78.86 percent of the current tablet PC web traffic, however, its share is 7.14 percent lower than its shopping holiday market share in United States and Canada traffic.ramos w30 quad core
It is also worth mentioning that Google's performance in the tablet PC space is impressive knowing that ASUS and Samsung both suffered low supply. Last month, Google's Play Store has failed to meet the large demand for the Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 tablets. As of today, both the ASUS Nexus 7 and Samsung Nexus 10 tablets are sold out in many territories including the United States and Great Britain. At the UK Play Store, the Nexus 7 tablet shows "out of inventory" whilst the Nexus 10 tablet will ship "soon" with a week waiting time.
Specs

The Nexus 10 tablet computer is powered by a dual-core Exynos processor, 2GB RAM and Android Jelly Bean mobile operating system, version 4.2, out of the box. The device features a 10-inch HD display, a 5-megapixel back-facing camera and a front-facing video chat camera.
The Asus-made Nexus 7 tablet competes with its quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM and Jelly Bean 4.2(chuwi v99 retina tablet) OS pre-installed. The smaller tablet features a 7-inch IPS display and a front-facing HD camera.
Apple's iPad 4 on the other hand is offering the new lightning dock port, the new Apple dual-core processor, a 9.7-inch Retina display, two cameras and iOS 6 mobile OS out of the box.

Of course, Amazon is trying its best to lure customers too by offering a 7-inch and an 8.9-inch tablet option. Both Kindle Fire tablets offer Amazon's skinned Android OS with all the Amazon ecosystem supported.
